The band lineup for Rob Zombie‘s Great American Nightmare is shaping up, and the horror themed festivities will contain 15 nights of music including a Nov. 2 performance by Zombie himself. Motionless In White had to pull out of the Saturday, Oct. 26 performance, but Vampires Everywhere and Winds of Plague have stepped in as their replacements.
The music festival, which promises technically advanced haunted house attractions, will have different themes each evening. Thursdays center on alternative rock music, with Fridays bringing the house down with EDM artist. For metalheads, Saturday evening is the best time to go, with Latin music serving as the main attraction for Sundays.
Along with Zombie and the aforementioned artists, participants in the festival include the following: 3OH!3, 45 Grave, Andrew W.K., Beware of Darkness, Blaze Ya Dead Homie, Blood on the Dance Floor, Butcher Babies, DirtyLoud, Dirtyphonics, DJ BI3nd, Doctor P, Duane Peters, Eagles of Death Metal, Emilie Autumn, Evol Intent, Fei-Fei, Ghost Town, Goldfinger, HeavyGrinder, Kottonmouth Kings, Metalachi, Mod Son, One More Time (Daft Punk Tribute), Ozomatli, Powerman 5000, Reel Big Fish, TSOL, Terravita, The Dickies, The Used, The Vandals, Twiztid, Wallpaper, William Control, and Zomboy.
Zombie’s lifelong passion for movies will also have its place in the festival, as three haunted house attractions will be based on his horror films ‘The Lords of Salem,’ ‘The Haunted World Of El Superbeasto 3D,’ and ‘House of 1000 Corpses.’ For music fans who want to get their cinematic fix during the celebration, the Great American Nightmare’s Bloody Boulevard contains screenings of classic horror movies, and freak show monsters will be creeping up and down the area each night.
